Depart from Shanghai / Hangzhou / Nanjing and take the high-speed rail (about 2 to 2.5 hours) to reach Wuyuan Station. Your dedicated Easy Tour China local guide and driver are already waiting for you. Drive to the Wuyuan scenic area.

Visit Li Keng Village (for about 2 hours). This is the most classic traditional Huizhou village by the water in Wuyuan - the streams running through the village. Along the stone-paved road, you will see the white-walled and black-tiled houses reflected in the water. Stop by Moon Bay on the way. The river bend is shaped like a crescent moon, hence the name. It stands as an iconic image of Wuyuan.

Best time of the year for this trip:

    • Spring (March - April) - You can enjoy the blooming of rape flowers in Wuyuan
    • Autumn (October - November) - It is a great time to view the "Sunset Farm" scenery in Wuyuan and the red maples in Shicheng and Changxi

Accommodation: Stay in Li Keng Village

    Wuyuan Villages

Today's tour of Wuyuan will allow you to capture scenes of terraced fields, morning mist, and ancient dwelling houses of Huizhou merchants. The Jiangling terraced fields are a must-visit in Wuyuan, and they are beautiful throughout the year, especially in spring when there are yellow rape flowers and in autumn when there are golden rice fields.

Then head to Sixiyan Village, which consists of two connected ancient villages. It has a lower degree of commercialization than famous attractions like Li Geng and Huangling, making it more suitable for tourists who enjoy history and a quiet atmosphere. Under the guidance of your tour guide, discover a large number of Ming and Qing Dynasty Huizhou merchant houses and learn about their history.

    Kind Reminder:

    • We can customize the itinerary for you. So, if your wish is to visit Huangling, please feel free to let us know.
    • Recommended must-try dishes in Wuyuan: Lotus Seed Red Carp, Steamed Vegetables, Steamed Bamboo Shoots

Accommodation: Stay in Li Keng Village

The latest Instagram hotspot in China, Wangxian Valley, is nestled in the canyon. It is renowned for its cliff architecture and night views, attracting tourists from all over the world.

After breakfast, your guide and driver will accompany you to Wangxian Valley. The journey takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Walk along the canyon walkway and admire the beautiful waterfalls and clear streams.

Visiting Wangxian Valley at night is even better. When the sky darkens, and the guesthouses on the cliff light up their lights. Against the backdrop of wooden bridges and mist, you feel as if you have entered the Chinese fairy tale world.

Accommodation: Cliff-side Guesthouse within the Valley

    Meals: B, L

    Wangxian Valley Night View

Enjoy the pleasant morning, bid farewell to the wondrous Wangxian Valley, and head for the Taoist sacred site Sanqingshan. The drive takes about 1.5 hours.

Sanqingshan is a granite formation from the late Yan Mountains period, featuring 48 unique peaks (the main peak, Yujing Peak, has an altitude of 1819.9 meters) and 89 shaped rocks. It was included in the World Geopark List in 2012. If the weather permits, watch the sunset and the sea of clouds.

    Kind Reminder:

You can choose the foot-hill hotel, which offers good value for money and is friendly to your physical condition. Or, the summit hotel, which is convenient for taking photos of the sunrise, but it is more expensive.

Accommodation: Stay at the foot/top of Mt. Sanqing

    Meals: B, L, D

If you live at the foot of the mountain, take the cable car up the Sanqing mountain, and hike along the high-altitude walkway on the West Coast (with an average altitude of 1600 meters) and the Sunshine Coast Walkway (3600 meters). Be amazed by the granite peak landscape. Must-see attractions "The Serpent Emerges from the Mountain" and "The Eastern Goddess" appear faintly in the clouds (it depends on the weather on that day). Then take the cable car down the mountain.

Drive to Shangrao Railway Station. Here you can take the high-speed train to Shanghai/Hangzhou/Nanjing and so on. Your 5-day private Jiangxi tour is over.
